I DON'T MIND IF YOU FORGET ME | 13'
“ I don’t mind if you forget me” is a performance based on the communication of three bodies (two performers, a double bass) that dive into their relationship through a constant exchange between sound and movement. The dancer embodies the form of the double bass and questions her human existence. Within an environment of vibrations, explosions, and falls, the imprint of sound and movement is recorded in their bodies’ memory, even if the impulse they receive is intense yet temporary.
MARILIA GRANTZA
Marilia Grantza is a multidisciplinary artist from Greece. She graduated from the Greek National School of Dance and studied at the Law School of Thessaloniki. She has been making her first steps in choreography, creating two short-length pieces. She has collaborated with choreographers such as Adonis Foniadakis, Patricia Apergi, Tú Hoang, Athanasia Kanellopoulou, Eva Georgitsopoulou, and Alan Lucien Øyen, while also performing at festivals like the Kalamata Dance Festival and the Athens City Festival. She currently lives in the Netherlands, where she works as a freelance performer.
