In "A/way Home," two characters embody vulnerability, resistance, and gender equality, challenging societal norms and hierarchical structures. The piece highlights marginalization, economic inequality, and the importance of empathy. Inspired by diverse cultures and urban landscapes, it encourages viewers to confront realities, fostering understanding and inclusion for all, regardless of gender or status.

Carlos Aller & Cecilia Bartolino is an innovative contemporary dance company founded in 2022, based in Berlin. The company combines urban dance influences with contemporary techniques, creating dynamic and thought-provoking performances. Known for works like "Nothing Happens," "A/way Home," and "Saudade de Ti," the company has toured extensively across Europe. They focus on challenging societal norms and promoting inclusivity through their art, while also contributing to educational programs for young audiences.
